LANTAU
ENLIGHTENMENT TOUR (PM) |
|
Lantau Island is almost twice the size of
Hong Kong Island and is one of the best-loved outlying islands.
With the new development of Ngong Ping skyrail, the Island has
become a new attraction in Hong Kong. Get close to nature on
this tour and explore Tai O, a quaint fishing village where the
houses are on stilts, visit the world's tallest, outdoor, seated
bronze Buddha statue at the Po Lin Monastery.

NGONG PING SKYRAIL
Ngong Ping Skyrail is a unique world class
tourist attraction with 5.7 Km in length and
112 cabins. Explore the new Ngong Ping
Skyrail to get a 360 ° panoramic view of
Lantau Island. (Due to Ngong Ping 360 cable
car service is suspended, it will be
replaced by coach to Ngong Ping Village
until further notice.)

Village where all the buildings are designed

PO LIN MONASTERY
Known as the " Buddhist kingdom in the
South ", Hong Kong's Po Lin Monastery is the
most popular Buddhist temple in Hong Kong.
The Monastery oversees the giant bronze
statue of the Sakyamuni Buddha.

TAI O FISHING
VILLAGE
Tai O, also known as the " Venice of the
East " was once the largest inhabited
settlement on Lantau Island . The village's
stilt houses on the waterfont, offer a
glimpse into Hong Kong 's past and provide a
striking contrast with the modern city.

After visiting
Tai O village, a short ride through the
Cheung Sha Beach of Lantau takes you to a
beautiful Sun-kissed white beach.
Tour fees include air-conditioned
sightseeing coach, guided services, on-way
ferry and Ngong Ping Skyrail ticket.
Note : Should
the Skyrail be cancelled due to bad weather
or other reasons, alternative transportation
will be used.

Giant panda Le Le and Ying Ying are gifts

10th anniversary of the establishment of the
